Can I play a Shiny Pokemon?
No, partly because there has only been one Shiny in Mystery Dungeon, but mostly because you have the option to have your character retain noteworthy features or accessories that make them stand out from other. These features can also be in their color too.
I can't decide a Pokemon for my character, help!
Why not ask for input here? Someone else may have a suggestion or two.
Am I stuck with the four-move rule?
No, though Pokemon may temporarily forget how to use a weaker move when learning a similar but stronger one. (e.g a Pokemon that knows Thundershock may temporarily forget how to use it after learning Thunderbolt)
So Dimensional Scream...what is it and why do I care?
It's a special ability that MAY trigger when in the presence of someone the bearer has a deep trust in. It has one of three effects: lets the user sees and/or hear an event in the past or future of what or whoever was touched just before the ability activates, allows the user to see or hear a relevant future event when touching said trusted someone, or provides an uncanny sense of direction in finding things plus the possibility of hearing things the instant they happen without being present.
MAY trigger?
Yes, the power is not able to be controlled and could trigger unexpectedly or not do so when it's wanted to.
Can my character have it?
Well, it's a rare ability, but yeah if you really want to. There is no real guideline for it, so just try to take into consider whether the ability suits the character and which version would.
I'm nothappy with my character's Pokemon anymore, can I change it?
Yes.There will be a certain NPC capable of doing that if the conditions are met. But only one time, so choose wisely.
